Busy week
We had a busy week last week! Brie started school:
We had a picnic &played at the park in the middle of the afternoon (gosh I love homeschooling!):
This past weekend we went to the Tumbleweed Festival at the local zoo. It's a family even with arts & crafts for the kids and awesome live music all day long! Here are a few shots:
Saturday night of the festival, we went to our first concert! We saw the group BarlowGirl! The are a rockin' girl band! The kids LOVED seeing them AND we got their autographs!!!

Today we have the pleasure of Auntie Amanda being here! She is here for work but gets to stay overnight with us!

I can't believe you went to see BarlowGirl! They are from the Elgin area and were in plays with Kevin at Hemmen's Theatre and Elgin Community College. They were homeschooled and their mother was a nurse. Very nice girls and had a lot of talent!
